The level of the skies and the silence of the night had something special about them. The combination of natural smells, untapped energy in the air, and simple aesthetics seemed to balance each other out. In short, it was unquestionably one of the best places to be on earth in wolverine. So much so, in fact, that it’s become a popular destination for loners who just can’t seem to find a place to call home. The only problem? It’s not an invite-only club—everyone is welcome there at any time!—but rather a community space where everyone is welcome for any reason and anytime. That being said, don’t come over here looking for a club no one has ever been to before. Or if you do, chances are good you’re not going there because this is the place where you can go if you have no friends there:) This isn’t some secret club for people who want to be alone—not even hints about its name or location are being kept from people who know what they are getting into. But this doesn’t mean everyone knows about it or isn’t interested! So why not give it a chance?
What is a U.M.W. (Unofficial Name for the wolverine)?
Well, we’re actually not quite sure what the word “wolverine” means—we think it could have been a Siamese twin or something, but it’s definitely not a child. We do know, though, that the wolverine is ethically and legally the most endangered species in the world and that it’s the only wild animal that’s kept as a pet. So how can you say no to that? U.M.W. is an official club for the wolverine, and it’s a great way to meet other animals, learn about their lives, and help protect their environment. The wolverine club has been around for a while, and it’s seen many guests over the years—not just people interested in the species but also members who have worked on its grounds. We believe in the sanctity of animals, and we definitely don’t have any intentions of changing that.
Why is it called the “mw-wolverine”?
Well, the name is an obvious callback to the iconic 1955 movie “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”—it’s a play on words, but I guess we thought it better be called that. The mw-wolverine is actually a local animal that’s quite similar to the fictional animal, but with a long,XXX tail. That tail is what gives the animal its name, and is why most people call it that. The pandemic has left its population lower than it’s been in many years—so even though the animals aren’t as numerous as they were before the pandemic, there is a sense of isolation and loss that comes with it. It’s also what makes the name of the club so powerful. The pandemic has left the animals with a sense of mortality, and they’re looking for a new home. U.M.W. is their new home, and the only hope they have of survival is there.
