I haven’t watched a lot of Carepanzarinotechcrunch in my life, but I was intrigued to watch Pushpa. I’ve never seen this particular genre before, but I was curious to see how this one held up. Luckily, I got to see the entire movie for myself and I was pleasantly surprised. I was especially surprised by the level of melodrama and action. Here is my Pushpa movie review.
Unlike many of the other actors, Allu Arjun is quite good as Pushpa. His body language, diction, and performance are all excellent. However, his role later lacks a lot of depth. However, I liked his friend Keshava’s role, which was portrayed well. I can’t say that I loved the movie, but I liked the way he handled his role. I’m glad I saw him in it.
The storyline of Pushpa is well-written and carries a strong emotional punch. We learn about a young boy who grew up surrounded by hate and a family with little to help him. Despite this, he does have some soft spots, especially for his mother and his love interest Srivalli (Rashmika Mandanna). However, the movie mirrors so many of the problems in South cinema. The hero always pursues the girl who is not interested in him. We learn that Srivalli is only a cog in a wheel.
The story of Pushpa is predictable, but Sukumar carries it off well. Fahadh Faasil, Allu Arjun, and the villains all have their parts to play. The film has a few strong moments, such as the fight sequence between Allu Arjun and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, but the film has a lackluster first half. While the hero has a great role in the film, the subplot of him stealing a woman’s husband is left unresolved.
The film is a surprisingly slow-moving thriller, but it’s worth watching if you want to see a movie about a powerful thief. Despite being slow-moving, Pushpa: The Rise does have its moments of brilliance. Its background score and cinematography are excellent, but it’s the editing and VFX work that are disappointing. If you’re not a fan of masala films, this isn’t for you.
In my opinion, the film is mostly entertaining. Allu Arjun is superb and the film has some decent mass scenes. However, the second half of the film feels plodding and slow. But the film’s strong points are the performances by Allu Arjun and Allu. The film’s good hyping is likely to boost the collections. But it’s still worth watching on a large screen. So, what’s your Pushpa movie review?
A solid acting performance is what sets Pushpa apart from other Tamil movies. While it has a gangster thriller underpinning, it’s mostly Allu Arjun’s performance that is the highlight of the film. His believable portrayal of the tough-guy role is a great example of the type of actor Allu Arjun is. If you’re a fan of Allu Arjun or want to see him in a tough role, Pushpa is definitely worth watching.
